The Technique

Hello yaw. I am pretty sure you guys did reckon on my posting on High Life Voodoo Brew Pomade. Well, I have discovered the way to tackle this thing up. For most of you who have bought this pomade and wondering on how to spread this pomade evenly on your hair. Especially when you have a very thick and crazy hair like mine. The trick is to melt the pomade beforehand. Now, various approaches can be used, such as placing the can into warm water and all. But for me, I prefer to melt this pomade by using a hairdryer. What I do is, i take a considerable amount of pomade that i would like to apply on my hair, and melt it up by using my hairdryer. *I am using a hairdryer because my hair tends to get crazy and very hard to dry after washing. Since, I am always on the go, so it is not a very big deal. HAHA. Right back to the pomade. Melting your pomade should not be very long. Besides, you can;t stand the heat from the hairdryer on your skin as well. 5-10 second should be OK to melt it. After that, Evenly spread the pomade onto your hair. For this case, I'd like to apply it on damp hair. Voodoo Brew is not a water soluble pomade, so it should not be an issue. Contrary to Suavecito though, I like to apply it on a dry-well cleaned hair. But using this pomade is another story. And yeah, I feel somewhat, dirty hair gives my hair more body and making it easier to sculpture as compared to clean hair. After apply the melted pomade, it is time to style your hair into desired styles. And voila! that perfect hair is yours. 

*Caution: Washing procedure is not easy and i mean it. My suggestion is to just leave the product on your hair as it will blend more with your hair and making it more easier to style. As for me, I'd wear it on working days since I use pomade on daily basis and wash it off during the weekends. But if your hair tends to smell. PLEASE wash it. Smelly hairs is a major turn off seriously. 

The verdict: This method does the trick by evenly spreading the pomade into my crazy hairs. I did manage to pomp up my hair by the result is somehow, not that overwhelming. However, this pomade does not stiffen up my hair so, it does give my hair more natural and shiny look. And it is easier to be touch up since it does not stiffen up.  

Voodoo Brew Pomade

Having a thick very wavy hair somewhat is a major drawback for me. At least for me. I find it had to style my hair since my hair is so freaking stubborn and it is out of place. Everytime. Knowing pomades would give me that sleek, glossy look that I've had always wanted, I'd think, why not? So, now, I'm gonna do a review about "Vodoo Brew Pomade". Fankly speaking, this is not the best pomade I have ever experienced. My hair does not go well with this pomade. I have been using this pomade for 5 days as for now. My hair is no tamable, and I can do my pomp. At all. *sigh. I highly prefer Suvecito Firme Hold Pomade for my hair. It works like magic! I call it my hair crack. haha. This pomade gives my hair a very heavy feel whenever I use it. But it has nice smell though. *thank god. But smelling nice is not what i look for in hair products. And did I mention that this pomade is really hard to wash out? It takes me 4 times of shampooing before I can really feel my hair clean. 

The verdict: I'll never buy this pomade again as it does not do what it told. On the can it says: "for darker, thicker hairs" but noope. My hair is a mess, and I can't do any pomp with my hair. At least for my crazy hair. And this thing is definately not for beginners like me since it is VERY hard to apply and to wash out. Like seriously serious.

2/4 Stars from me. But it smells nice though. Coconuty kind of smell as compared to Suavecito.

being single. what are you afraid of??

Being single. in terms of romance relationship, or friendship relationship. some people might get apprehended when they think of being single? why is this so? why is it must be a feel of 'fear'? well to simply sum up things, i have been on this situation and i'm currently single as well. well, in terms of romance relationship. my very first post on 2013 would be on this issue. :) there are 4 reasons why i want to write about this.

1. because i'm single
2. because this would make me feel better
3. because i want to help others who have the same issue as mine
4. because it my blog, so i can write anything i want.
haha XD

anyway,

afraid of being alone is normal for all people, in fact i am afraid of the dark myself, but, being afraid about you don't have boyfriend, girlfriend, isn't something you should be afraid of. really. as yourself, what do want from a relationship? why do you want to be in it so much? see it all comes to you, its all about yourself. of course some people would tell me, "i want to be loved, don't you want to be loved? having someone that actually there for you, that cares for you, that listens to you.. bla, bla.." and list goes on. :)

well, it is undeniable, that everybody wants to be loved and also love. same goes for me.

consider this case, Cathy is a successful woman, so hold a B.sc with high honours, a great stable job, nice car *of course she pays it off herself., a nice loving supportive family and close friends.. but there is one thing, she does not have a bf like any other of her colleagues does! maybe it is because of her weight issue or whatever which i don;t quite relate to this shit because i think nobody is ugly. each of us is unique in our own way. *cliche haha but its trueee. now, what the heck is she lookin for a man anyways????! to reproduce? ohhh no, there is a lot of other things in life rather than getting banged or banging. please. in this case, being in a relationship, just gives her more liability than giving her an advantage. in biological terms, it is sort of kinda like symbiotic relationship in the class of parasitism what we call.

okay so here s the list of the cons of being single:
1. you are FREE. i mean, free. real free. don't you just love to being free and having the authority of being in control of your own life? you can go out with who ever you like, anywhere, anytime.

2. more quality time with your self and loved one. by the term loved one here is family or friends. really. on the phone 24/7 with ur bf/gf. I've been there and done that, and frankly speaking i do have some feel of regret dong that. because I've lost a lot of quality time with my family and friends.

3. you saves money. *the most obvious.

4. you don't have to cover up stupid shits you do. really, tell me, do you act the same infront of you bf/gf? compare when ur with your besties? tell me, tell me now??!

5. you can be more independent. seriously, this is what am i going through right now. maybe sometimes, friends cannot always be with you 24/7. so you have to do things alone. really its just making you feel more "adult" and more stronger than you've ever think of.

6. because you are strong!  you are strong to stand with your on feet and don't depend on others! i've been in the whole damsel-in-distress-f*cked-up-situation myself. but i set my mind strong by thinking that i am strong, and independent.

7. you don't have to be rejected. to those who are using online dating services, you of course nedd to go for a blind date. so, when you really went for a "physical" date with your so-called partner, if you do not meet his/her expectation, what will you think they would do? hahaha hence, to reduce the feeling of being rejected, take my advice honey.


hurm, hat is all of the cons that i can think about this time. i post this because I've also in this situation. before this i'm no that strong to accept the fact that i'm all alone, single-nobody-wants-dude. but after going through a lot of rejections this decade. *ahahah decade?!! i came to a realization sorta kinda of epiphany if you would say. i'm tired of being rejected, being sad, being fooled, being used. so i chose this path. a lot of my friends who are in relationship, a bad relationship, does not want to end their relationship. simply because they think ouhhh they cannot live with their partners. really b*tch? all you need is O2 to live. you don't shit with me. if you cannot live life without your partner, then how you lived before of his/her presence??!! you don't shit me. okay? there is a saying that goes, "it is better to be alone rather than a bad relationship even a minute." okay?

hostel application. urghhh

hello! hye. It has been a long time. again. its my half semester here in UMT. I'm so busy. *busy ke? haha actually I don't have any ideas to write today but I'm gonna right anyways. Its half semester now, so I'm quite preoccupied with my final exam. And now, I'm busy with my hostel application form. one of my room mate also apply for hostel his Faiz Pcoyo De btw this is his Fb name. add lah kalau nk. LOL haha XD

 hahahah this is my borang...harap dapat la yer? pary for me too. the room is limited so I'm praying for the best. Ignore the ugly pic of mine.. hey! they took the pic right after registration so, i'm not fully prepared. hahaha...okay..so i'm going to play basket ball right now. tata!~

Miss Universe Malaysia 2012

This is some facts about the new Miss Universe Malaysia, Ms. Kimberly Ann Estrop-Leggett. She is from mixed heritage. She is from Penang. This 18 years old *young! I know right. i'm jealous!  she is mixed if i'm not mistaken. British + Malaysian. Stands tall about 5'9" this beauty queen plans on perusing her studies to UCLA. But since she won this title she have to postpone her idea. She plans on majoring in Economics and Business. *i'd love to see beauty queen from a science background. oh i remember! Miss Venezuela Universo! Ms Vanessa Gonçalves! she graduated from the school of dentistry! okay. lets forget about that. Here are some of her pictures during the coronation night.

during this semester holiday...I....

hey! it has been a long time is it? i'm to preoccupied with my studies and my social activities. haha. and i x have much to write about. now i'm having my semester holiday. it's just one month. i know right? 1 bloody month???! it's just to short for me. pooofh! but at least i got some holiday. now during this holiday month. which about to end soon. damn! i don;'t want to go back to campus. :( many things have happened! when i say a lot. it is. something about my friend. or should i say ex-friend. well, i don't want to tell much about it. because i'm over it. during this awesome month. i've done a lot of shopping and reading. i've bought Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose. omgomgomgomg. the scent is sooooo goood! i love it. it smells sweet. so sweet. really sweet. like the scent of berries. just what i love. really. i love sweet scented perfumes. i bought it for RM206..it's an investment. really. and it comes with complementary gifts! here the pic of my new baby..

see. i love the bottle. it's the Tresor's trademark shape. and the rose..ouh! i love it. it's held y a rubber band. i luv it luv it luv it!  and the colour quite nice too! *don't get it wrong yea people? LOL

and it's quite sometime i x update on beauty pageants right? for me i'm not happy with this year's 60th Miss Universe pageant. i'm so sad with the placements. my country x place at all! Malaysia is the crowd favourite since the beginning. i dunno where went wrong. and they changed the whole thing this year. the format, the music. frankly speaking, i love the old format and music better.. especially the final look music. gosshhhh i love that music. it makes me feel like i'm in the pageant myself!  however, i hope Malaysia will advance in the 61st Miss Universe pageant. i personally think Malaysia x place because of sash factor.. sad. and hey! have you met the new Miss Universe Malaysia? she's gorgeous. although i must admit that i x expect her to win though. *sorry. hehe. ;P  she is....Ms Kimberly Anne Estrop-Leggett. she is 18 years old. younger than me. *sad. and she was born in Penang. you can check her picture out on Miss Universe Malaysia official Facebook page. i'm to lazy want to attach her picture. but for sure she is gorgeous. 

And. during this holiday, I have found my deep inside interest. reading. I love reading. but restricted to Biology books only. but. during this holiday I have started reading novels. English novels only. I'll never read Malay novel. I'm sorry. no offense. i'm a Malay to btw. I highly recommends you, to read Sophie Kinsella's novel. Especially the Shopaholic Series. I looove it. It's funny, entertaining, and I can't put it down when i read it. a shopaholic and a fashion lover will love this for sure! so far I have bought " Confessions of a Shopaholic "and " Shopaholic Abroad". I'd like to buy another books that is, " Shopaholic Ties The Knot ", " Shopaholic & Sister", " Shopaholic and Baby", and " Mini Shopaholic". BUT. unfortunately these books are unavailable in Kelantan. DAMN! these books were there before this. i saw them!! The novel " Confession of a Shopaholic is now a major motion picture starring Isla Fisher. Although the movie version is different from the novel version but i love them both! haha.

I have bought another books instead of Sophie Kinsella's alone. I have bought " Everyone Worth Knowing" by Lauren Weisberger. She is the famous author of the " The Devil Wears Prada " book. and as usual, i cannot find the book here. i saw the book before!!!!arghhh!!!! I want to read it so much! this book is okay for me. a fashion lover or Sex And The City lover  would also find this interesting. This book provides a full description of a particular situation which sometime can be a bit boring. haha

Another book is, " Commitment" by Elizabeth Gilbert. of course you will know her from the book " Eat Pray Love " which now a major motion picture starring Julia Roberts.  " Eat Pray Love" is a good book for me. it portrays a women's journey to her self discovery. And during her discovery she has learn many things. this book is divided into 3 parts. or 3 books like she does. i highly recommends this book.

as promised, today i shall write about our very own Miss Universe Malaysia 2011, Ms. Deborah Priya Henry. she was born on July 21 1985. her father is Indian and she is of Irish descent through her mother. she holds Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Economics from University of Queensland, Brisbane Australia. *phewww beauty with brains!~ and this is not her first time competing in pageant. before this, she is Miss World Malaysia 2007 and went to 57th Miss World 2007 pageant held at Crown of Beauty Theatre at Sanya, China, alongside with Miss Universe 2009 and 2010 1st runner ups, Ada de la Cruz of Dominican Republic and Yendi Philips of Jamaica. Micaela Reis of Angola also compete on that pageant. remember her? from Miss Universe 2007. she made it to the top 15. well BTW, from the day i started become a pageant fanatic, i can say, that i never support our own country in Miss Universe Pageant. HONESTLY. because our country always send the wrong girl to this pageant. i'm pretty sure there's a lot more stunner Malaysian girls out there. but the 2009 and 2010 was OK though. i'm impressed with this year's Miss Universe Malaysia. and i can say, this year, my own country will get my vote. Miss Universe Malaysia Organization also seems very committed about winning this year's 60th Miss Universe Pageant that will be aired from Sao Paulo, Brazil. This year also,
The MUMO introduced us with a brand new official crown by Suhara Jewel Art for Miss Universe Malaysia which looks like the older version Miss Universe crown. this crown looks ok to me...but of course i'm still a big fan of Mikimoto crown. =P

well i managed to watch Miss Teen USA 2011 live from missteenusa.com and i must say that i love the winner this year. this year's winner is from Texas, Ms Danielle Doty, aged 18 years.. she'so cute! i mean look at her~

well this year's Miss Teen USA will be held at the Atlantis Paradise Island, at the Bahamas again if i'm x mistaken. YES its the same place again as last year and its the same venue where Miss Universe 2009 Estefania Fernandez of Venezuela were crowned that year, by Dayana Mendoza of Venezuela. Estefania Fernandez, name was on The Guiness World Book of Record because of her achievement bringing the Miss Universe crown to her home country for 2 consecutive years. The new Miss Teen USA will become the new roommate for Miss USA and Miss Universe. Well for this year, Miss Teen USA 2010, Kamie Crawford will crown her successor in this event. For this year, a have a fav contestant~

yes! i'm reading this book now and i ni jenis x ske bce novels..but i feel like reading this because i want to know more bout the dethroned Miss California USA 2009, Carrie Prejean. she's being dethroned because of some perlanggaran kontrak thingy. she's also ad tremendous scandal pasal her nude pics. but she claim that is wardrobe malfunction. i mean cmon, wat age we're livin in. MU also hv made some nude pictorials of the contestants. and of course it is done tastefully..so i've read 4 chapters dy, and can't wait to read it more!

yes! i have been waitin 4 dis time like forever! luckily i managed to watch the live broadcast of the 2011 Miss USA which celebrates its 60 th anniversary this year..past title holders also present kat event kali ni, antara nyer yg i recall, Rima Fakih *like duhh!, Kristen Dalton, Crystle Stewart, Rachel Smith, Tara Connor, Chelsea Cooley, Shandi Finessey *love her <3! and ad lgi la..
so this is some of the highlight that i manage to get of this years's pageant which held at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada

this year pageant format da kne change bit "but i prefer yg old punye format BTW" wutever..till the soundtrack pon diorang change...i was like WTH????!! i like the close up track before this, but they changed it anyway...ergghhh...i hope they never change it in MU this year....=( instead of top 15, top 10, and top 5, they changed it to top 16, top 8, and top 4..and the way they announce it somehow like some reality tv show or sumthin which sumtin frustrating for me. i dunno bout other ppl's opinion, bt i really do feel dat way..
